Choose The Bright Side

The Oklahoma City hip-hop community is coming together to support and raise funds for the Cavett Kids Foundation with "Choose the Bright Side," a free benefit concert that will feature 16 of Oklahoma's top rappers.

Hosts Jim Conway and DJ Triple8 (Joshua Tullis) visited Living Oklahoma to tell us more about the benefit concert. They were joined by Druce Wayne (Drew Woods) who conceived the idea after his sister attended the Cavett Kids Foundation annual summer camp for children fighting life threatening illnesses.

The concert is set for July 8 at 6 p.m. and is free, though they will be taking donations to support Camp Cavett.

Choose the Bright Side will take place at the District House located at 1757 NW 16 in the Oklahoma City Plaza District.
